This young family spent nearly 2 years searching for the perfect mid-century ranch home. When they came upon this diamond-in-the rough, they called me to help make it a bright, functional, spacious kitchen they could grow in. Because the kitchen would be completely visible from the living room, it needed to be harmonious with the rest of the home. To achieve this, we elegantly concealed the range hood, ditched the upper cabinets and applied simple, textured tile all the way to the ceiling. The lower cabinetry made of deep drawers and double-wide pantry provides ample storage.
